We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work PRN in our Laboratory Department in Rockwall, Texas, and who will provide service excellence and support the hospital's mission, vision and values through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.
Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director, the phlebotomist performs all specimen collection procedures for all age groups in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Must be able to promptly, efficiently and accurately perform phlebotomy on all age groups. Must be able to answer the phone in a courteous and professional manner. Must be able to perform basic clerical duties.
- High School/GED is required
- 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience is required
- American Society of Clinical Pathologists Certification is preferred
