    Currently seeking a House Supervisor, (RN) with 3-5 years of ER, ICU and/or Supervisor experience to work in our Nursing Administration Department in Rockwall, TX., and who will provide service excellence and support the hospital's mission, vision and values through appropriate conduct at all times.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes safety and well-being of all patients throughout the organization on assigned tour of duty. Plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates all intradepartmental and interdepartmental activities; is the designated on-site hospital administrator in off-shift hours 
    • Responsible for the assessment of all requests for administrator-on-call contact during his/her tour 
    • Responsible for all activities within the hospital in the absence of Administration and /or Department Directors 
    • Participates in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures, as well as making suggestions for revision of same 
    • Maintains open communcation with all staff 

    Qualifications

    Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations.  Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care.  The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing is required as in the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written word.  Must be flexible with work scheduling.  Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.

    • High School/GED Reguired
    • Associates Degree Required; Bachelors Degree Preferred
    • Current TX RN License Required
    • American Heart Association CPR/BLS and ACLS Required
    • American Heart Association PALS Preferred
    • 3-5 years ICU, ER & Supervisor Experience Required
