    Our Surgical Department is seeking an Operating Room RN Manager









    • Assists with hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff for the Operating Room, Anesthesia and Sterile Processing Department.
    • The Manager of Operating Room assists with the organization, direction, management and evaluation of patient care services
    • Promotes, supports, and facilitates the delivery of compassionate, evidence based nursing care to create an optimal patient experience. 
    • Supervises the total nursing care of all patients on the unit(s) of services and gives the appropriate direction to each staff member to provide quality patient care.
    • Oversees the unit’s operation to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care and to maximize patient, physician, and employee satisfaction.
    • Demonstrates sound financial knowledge and management
    • Builds and maintains high performing care delivery teams and strategic relationships
    • Builds customer loyalty among physicians, employees and community


    Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations.  Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care.  The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required; as is the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written work.  Must be flexible with work scheduling.  Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.


    • Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors in Nursing preferred
    • Current Texas RN license
    • Current AHA CPR/BLS required
    • Current AHA ACLS required
    • 3-5 years experience in acute care is required
