                                               Our Surgical Services Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgery Department.

     

                                                                                                       **PRN**

     

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrates sound financial knowledge and management 
    • Facilities the organization and management to achieve optimal patient appropriate resource utilization
    • Builds and maintains strategic relationships 
    • Builds and maintains high performing care delivery teams 
    • Manages conflict and competing imperatives 
    • Builds customer loyalty among physicians, employees and community 
    • Possesses requisite level of technical and professional knowledge in Nursing including exceptional leadership skills

    Qualifications

    Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations.  Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care.  The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required; as is the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written work.  Must be flexible with work scheduling.  Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.

    • Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors in Nursing preferred
    • Current Texas RN license
    • Current AHA CPR/BLS required
    • 1-3 years experience as Surgery RN
