    Currently seeking an EMT-Paramedic with at least two (2) years of experience to work in our Emergency Department in Rockwall, Texas, and who will provide service excellence and support the hospital's mission, vision and values through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for patient care delivery which promotes safety and well being of all patients within the system. Facilitates optimal patient appropriate resource utilization.  Builds and maintains strategic relationships.  Participates and contributes to high performing care delivery teams.  Manages conflict and competing imperatives.  Builds customer loyalty among physicians, employees and community.  Possesses requisite level of technical and professional knowledge.

    Qualifications

    Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations.  Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to asssit RN with progressively managing care delivery across the continuum of care.  The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required as in the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written word.  Must be flexible with work scheduling.  Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.

     

    -  High School or GED required

    -  Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred

    -  Current Texas EMT/Paramedic license required

    -  Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required

    -  At least two (2) years of Paramedic experience is required
