Currently seeking a Telemetry Tech with experience, to work in our Telemetry Monitoring Department in Rockwall, Texas, and who will provide service excellence and support the hospital's mission, vision and values through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

The Telemetry Tech will provide a safe environment by measuring, assessing, and reporting patient's information regarding heart rate, oxygen and any rthythm changes to nurses. Telemetry Techs work under the direction, guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurses.  The Telemetry Tech will work tactfully and cooperatively with patients, families, visitors and staff.  Provides for patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

    

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of monitor tech experience is preferred
  • Supportive monitor tech training is preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR
  • Verbalize and document data and information both verbally and in writing, as in the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written word
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times
