Currently seeking an Admitting Representative, preferrably with medical experience, to work in our hospital in Rockwall, Texas and who will provide service excellence and support the hospital's mission and values through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.

 

                                                                Full Time , 9:30am-6pm, Rotating Weekends                        

Responsibilities

  • The Access Services Representative will ensure the quality of patient registrations to the hospital by obtaining thorough and accurate information in a timely and efficient manner
  • This position also requires the Access Services Representative to interact with ancillary departments and staff to ensure quality care for all patients 
  • The Access Services Representative also serves as a patient resource in matters concerning financial/payment arrangements and will discuss financial matters for up-front collections or payment arrangements if necessary

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Computer literate with excellent verbal and communicational skills. 
  • Tact and diplomacy 
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to adjust with patient flow
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Previous medical experience preferred
