Our ICU Department is looking for a Wound Care, Registered Nurse (RN) to work PRN for our facility in Rockwall, Texas. The Wound Care RN will be responsible for providing professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care for assigned ostomy patients.

  • Aids hospital staff and physicians in the care of patients with stomas, draining wounds, fistulae, incontinence or tissue traumas
  • Plans, assesses, updates and promotes enterostomal patient education needs and care 
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform a concise nursing assessment and reassesses and documents the proposed revision of interventions and desired outcomes
  • Responsible to document all nursing care in all assigned patient records 
  • Maintains patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times
  • Notifies appropriate nursing and medical staff to changes in the patient status
  • Provides direct care to assigned patients


  • Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's preferred
  • Current Texas RN License 
  • Certified Wound Nurse, Certified Wound Specialist, CWOCN
  • 3-5 years of experience
